The origin of Tatra tea can be traced far back in Slovak history. Life was hard back then. People treasured every moment of meeting friends. They always cheered together with cup of something good, something strong. Mountain folks used to heal many diseases with their homemade medicine. Boiled water poured over the herbs, added moonshine, spirit, honey, garlic and tallow. Everyone had its own recipe, but they all called it Tea. Enriched with extracts from citrus fruits (lemon and lime), which give it a distinct citrus flavour while keeping its wonderful tea and fruity aroma.
